Vang Vieng Inter Park, commonly called Blue Lagoon 9, is not east of town as the old Atlas seed claimed. Blue Lagoon 9 belongs to the western lagoon road
Current local-resident reporting places Vang Vieng Inter Park about twenty kilometres west of town, before the more distant lagoon area. That directly corrects the old Atlas note calling it an east-side attraction. Save the correct Inter Park pin and keep more time for the road than you would for Lagoon 1. The longer ride is part of why large tour groups are less dominant here.

Inter Park is a large landscaped area rather than one tiny turquoise pool.
